Wardrobe demands are different for people living in either warmer or colder climates. When flying from one temperature extreme to another, it is a good idea to have an option regarding what clothing you are wearing on the plane. This could mean packing a pair of shorts in your carry-on baggage so you can make a quick change in the airport restroom or even wearing those pants with zip-off legs so you can leave your home in pants and arrive at your destination in shorts. When traveling from a warm climate to a colder one, packing a sweatshirt or windbreaker in your carry-on baggage can perform the same benefit for you in reverse.
